Health & Safety

How we are supporting you and the community during coronavirus

On behalf of The Kitchen Design Centre, we’d like to share a personal note outlining how we’re supporting our customers through the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus).

Please be assured that during this time, we are monitoring the situation very closely and have already implemented even more vigilant practices in our showrooms and factory. The health and safety of our customers, employees and our community is our highest priority and we are highly focused on maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Visit our Covid-safe showrooms

The health and safety of our customers, employees and our community is our highest priority and we are focused on maintaining a safe and healthy environment. In line with current guidelines in Melbourne, our showroom doors are open with a covid-safe plan in place.

Our designers are also equipped with the latest technology and equipment to carry out meetings via video. They are able to demonstrate and show you options and features as they would in a face to face meeting. We can schedule these at times most convenient to you.

To book a zoom appointment, contact us on 0428 924 666.

To visit a showroom, choose from
3 Bridge Street Eltham Vic.
143 Whitehorse Road Blackburn Vic.

100% Australian made

In our factory in Bayswater Victoria, it is regular occupational health and safety standard for our cabinet makers to wear protective gear at all times. This continues to be enforced. As our kitchens and joinery are all custom made here in Australia, there are no delays to production or deliveries. We are committed to keeping disruption to a minimum.

The Kitchen Design Centre has implemented a stringent management plan to reduce risk among our team and ensure ongoing continuity of design, supply and installation of our products in the safest way possible. Installations are occurring only when permitted to do so by Victorian health directive.

Considered home visits

Before our designers visit your home to discuss your renovation and before we install your kitchen and joinery, we ask that you let us know if anyone in your family is feeling unwell so that we may reschedule our visit to a later time. We also ask that you adhere to Federal Government directive whereby people returning from travel overseas self quarantine for a period of 14 days. Kindly let us know if you are in the quarantine phase so we can reschedule our appointment. This will help protect our designers and tradespeople as well as prevent the spread of any symptoms to the community.

Ongoing diligence and safety

We continue to monitor and review the situation daily and follow the advice of the Australian Government to ensure we are operating in the safest way possible and to avoid minimum disruption to your renovation plans.

The Kitchen Design Centre remains committed to providing comfort and safety in Australian homes, as it has done since 1994. We will keep you updated as the COVID-19 situation develops. Please contact us if you require any further information.

We send sincere wishes for everyone to stay safe and well during these unprecedented times.

Best regards,
