But for a more modern, seamless kitchen look, integrating your appliances means you can hide them behind a cupboard door, keeping your surface finishes looking uniform and streamlined.

Our kitchen showrooms are set up to demonstrate the different options available. Where exposed appliances are obvious and create more outline and detail, integrated appliances disappear, making cupboard surfaces neatly uniform. Appliances must be chosen where the door of the appliance allows for a cupboard door to be attached to the front face so that it blends seamlessly with its neighbouring cupboards. Dishwashers, for example, will have a recessed door, allowing for the cupboard door panel to be attached to the front, making the appliance flush and uniform with the cupboards on either side. Control panels are hidden inside. They can also be semi-integrated, meaning the door panel covers all but the exposed control panel on the outside. Refrigerators can also be fully integrated into the kitchen cupboard wall, creating that lovely flawless, uncluttered look. Careful consideration must be given to this selection, however, as appliance doors can often become somewhat heavier, so if there are health issues limiting movement or weight-bearing, this might not be the option for you.
