Using Timber in the Kitchen

Benchtop, doors and/or features…

These days there are so many options when designing a kitchen. With so many beautiful surface finishes available it can be tricky narrowing it down. One surface finish our kitchen designers can specify is solid timber. Timbers can be used in several different applications. It can be used on cupboard doors, both as a veneer or a solid door. These can be seen on display in our Blackburn kitchen showroom. The kitchen benchtop can also be made of solid timbers, or reconstituted timbers where leftover wood chips are recycled and laminated into a solid timber slab. Both of these options can also be seen on display in our Blackburn kitchen showroom. An island benchtop becomes a decorative showpiece for a gorgeous piece of natural timber. The warmth of the natural timber colours serve to provide a cosy kitchen environment. The kitchen designers at The Kitchen Design Centre can specify the perfect timber solution for your kitchen, helping to create a warm and inviting kitchen space. Timber and timber-look laminates are very popular in kitchens at the moment so why not visit one of our kitchen showrooms to see the possibilities?
