Sink Styles

There are lots of sinks to choose from. Which is right for you?

One of the most important choices you will make when planning your kitchen space is that of your sink. Your kitchen designer at The Kitchen Design Centre can help with this choice and the decisions that go with it. Sinks come in many different shapes, sizes and styles, and have varied bowl options. It is important to think very carefully about how you use your sink and your sink space before choosing your sink and its accessories. For example, if you need two full-sized bowls, you need to consider if you have enough bench space to accommodate the full sink unit’s width. If you have limited bench top space you may choose to scale down your sink width size to a unit that has one full sink and one half (or ¾) sink. You may also choose to not have a drain board on the side of your sink. Or, you may choose to relocate your sink to a different side of your kitchen. Consideration of how you use this area is very important. That’s where a professional kitchen designer can help.
Our kitchen showrooms located in Blackburn and Eltham have many different kinds of sinks on display. The kitchen showroom is a great way to see the sink in relation to the other features of the kitchen. Why not visit one of our kitchen showrooms to get your designer kitchen under way?
